PUMPING IRON at a cancer center facility

Today marks my surgery’s 5th month and now having my 1st session of iron infusion to hopefully pump my levels up.

I’ve had iron infusions years back but not at a cancer center facility.  It really put things in perspective to me that in light of the battle I’m facing, I’m thankful that I’m just pumping iron and not chemo drugs.

Update:  February 28, 2018 - I felt fine after the infusion but the side effects of severe headache, mild nausea, chest, back, lower body aches and pains started the next day that still lingers on today, 2 days after.My heart whispers a prayer …

UpdateFebruary 28, 2018 - I felt fine after the infusion but the side effects of severe headache, mild nausea, chest, back, lower body aches and pains started the next day that still lingers on today, 2 days after.

My heart whispers a prayer for the next session to turn out well again with no complications and for me not to feel as run down afterwards.
